Main problem

According to World Health Organization

Cancer

Covid-19

Epilepsy

Celebral palsy

In developing countries, healthcare problems result from a combination of socio-cultural and economic factors. In general, economic resources are often insufficient to support the provision of essential services. In addition, there are other adverse factors that affect the effectiveness of health care such as inadequate quality, lack of accessibility, lack of affordability and inappropriate allocation of resources.

Our approach

Step 1

Collecting information

Before we start our project in a particular region, we collect information about the region’s healthcare system, shortages of medical supplies and appeals from the medical institutions.

Step 2

Forming working group

Once information is collected, we engage with the local medical staff and the state authorities to form a working group.

Step 3

Providing medical supplies

Once the working group identifies the problems, we start supplying the required equipment and medications to the local medical institutions.

Step 4

Monitoring the situation

The final step is to continue to monitor the situation. To keep in touch with the medical staff and patients and to provide an extra support when necessary.

When the Covid-19 virus broke out in January 2020, I AM PART OF was the first NGO to respond to appeals for help from the hospitals in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. These hospitals were short of breathing aid devices, oxygen concentrators, critical care medications, protective gear and rapid test kits. In parallel, we are helping medical foundations and organizations in Asia to support and treat children with epilepsy, cerebral palsy and cancer.
